If you're looking for a pick-me-up smoothie, I highly recommend adding Spirulina to your green smoothies. I've been using it for a year now, and it always makes me feel fresh and energised.

Spirulina has so many health benefits including:

Supporting immune and heart health, it aids in gut health, muscle endurance, weight management, and may help regulate blood sugar and reduce allergy symptoms. It can also contribute to healthier skin!

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled and chopped

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

Instructions:

  1. Add the spirulina powder, spinach, cucumber, frozen pineapple, banana, and water to a blender.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

  3. Check the consistency and add more water if needed, blending again until you reach your desired thickness.
